My group did not create a Star promo due to the immensely thoughtful and detail oriented feedback we received on our rough draft. During the duration of class while the other groups were finished with their final drafts and began filming their Star promos, my group was filming new scenes to mend the obvious gaps within our project at that time. We weighed our opportunity cost of creating a Star promo and the idea of turning in a project that did not live up to our potential as a group. Our intent was to execute our final draft in such a way that made us proud instead of bitter. We knew what we could do to fix our project and we took a risk with the time we had. We chose to create one project of quality instead of two mediocre segments of projects. We decided to trust our fellow classmates with the responsibility of creating several excellent Star promotions and they exceeded what we hoped for. We are proud of our final video and of the Star promos created by our class. Although we regret not being able to partake in the creation of a Star promo, we do not regret spending the extra time and dedication on our final project.
